Mid-Term-Conference

Start into the second year of the project

For our Mid-Term-Conference two representatives from each partner university will come together at the Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, from September 26th to 30th. We will start the week by discussing the current status of the project, followed by reminding of the project's aims and discussing how to achieve them best. We will take a look into the future and start into the second project year. The project ideas that have been created during the Train-the-Faculty Workshop in Ho Chi Minh City will be discussed further as well as their possible integration into the MEDLIT project itself. The Conference is led by Thomas A. Bauer and Michael-Bernhard Zita from the University of Vienna, with support from Cornelia Wallner and Marian T. Adolf from the Zeppelin University

During the week the first wave of the Delphi Study will come to an end. The partner countries will present their results and will find time to discuss similarities and differences in smaller groups. Such final discussions of the first phase are meant to lead to learning outcomes to benefit the start of the second phase.

Besides these activities there will be our first Change-Board-Meeting which serves to discuss and agree on upcoming changes of the project work plan, project organization and the resulting changes to associated funds.

The Conference will be concluded by discussing and starting the work package MLC-Constitution, led by Ezhar Tamam from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and the work package Change, led by Jirayudh Sinthuphan from the host university of this Conference, Chulalongkorn University
